Re. Said container. I am writing with great disappointment that we are unable to take the cargo out for custom clearance to-date, despite arriving the container in Sri Lanka port and moved to Ceylon Shipping yard on 28th April. I have been following up with your Company/Agent during last couple of weeks but no firmed up date is given for clearance, yet. Whilst accepting that there were few unexpected workflow interruptions during last couple of days, your lethargic approach to resolve this issue and having this container
un-opened in your yard since 28th Apr causing great inconvenience to your customer, reflects very badly on the reputation of your company. I kindly request you to look in to this ON URGENT BASIS and let me know when can I clear the cargo, earliest.
