Dear Mr Williams,
We are publishing an article in the next issue of ‘express économie’ on Wednesday the 12th July following the joint-venture between allport Cargo Services and Cargotech. In some quarters, fear is being expressed that this joint-venture might lead to a monopolistic situation whereby the new entity will control all the airfreight activities . I have been asking views from many parties involved in this issue. I couldn’t refrain from asking you your point of view. I wrote a note to M. Beekoo as well.
Question :
Some people are expressing their concern that the joint-venture Allport/Cargotech might lead to a monopolistic position of the new entity by imposing its supremacy in the freightforwarding business. What are your views?
