I am writing you from Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

I am involved in a vessel conversion project with the Canadian Coast Guard, and am currently looking at hatch covers.

The intent is to create some hold space on an existing vessel, and alter the main deck to accommodate a coaming and hatch cover.

Geometry dictates a maximum opening of 5700mm X 4200mm. We are waiting to hear if this will be further reduced by Regulatory requirement.

I am working with our Operations department to determine smallest effective opening.

We are hoping to find a hinged, hydraulically operated weathertight hatch cover.

I'd like to hear about what you can offer, lead times, shipping times to Canada, etc.
