Customs clearance
Bonjour. I am British, and live in Britain, and have my business in UK. My very small business is based I UK, but I buy old ,used, secondhand French furniture and brocante in France . I buy from many different places ,like, street markets, depot ventes, charity stores (Emmaus), as well as professional “deballages “. After Brexit, I am told I will need a transitaire or freight forwarder to help me clear and pass through French customs, by making a Export declaration for customs. I can usually get invoices for the things I buy, but they may be hand written, or small printed “fiche” from a shop.
Can you help me with this please ?. I normally travel out of Dieppe by ferry, and travel usually once a month.
Can you tell me what I would have to do?
Thankyou
Mark Prescott
