CSC inspection of MEGC in Isreal for return shipment to USA
We ship Multiple Element Gas Containers (MEGC) internationally. We load them with UN2203 Silane gas in the United States and then they are sent to our customers for offloading. One of our units is at a customer in Israel, but the periodic inspection expired in February of 2020. There is no facility within Israel that can completely empty this module for retest in Israel so it must return to our location for inerting and retest. The shipping regulations do allow for these to ship back as long as they are not filled, but our customer has not been able to get this on the boat. Would you be willing to do an inspection on the frame of the module and provide a certificate so that the shipping line can accept it?
